I have been teaching for 32 years, 18 of which have been at Brighten Academy. In addition to gifted certification,  I have a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. I retired in 2022 and have returned to teach part-time. I love exploring new places and challenging students to achieve more than they thought possible. I have the best of both worlds!

​ This is my 32 year of teaching, 20 of which were in Gifted Education.   I have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Behavior, a Masters in Middle Grades education, and a Specialist in K-12.
I retired in 2018, and returned to the class room for GYSTC at West Georgia college, then 2 years teaching PC in Kansas City,  Kansas, and this will be my 3rd year at Brighten Academy. I love challenging our students to see how far they can grow in their academics.
